What Do I Think Daily Series #1

There is nothing wrong with the Academy remaining distinguished.

Let’s start with one of the biggest. Why not.

Should streaming services be up for Oscars?

Restructuring of Hollywood needs to stay true to foundation roots understanding the evolution of media especially in regards to streaming and digital media.

Really the above statement is about it.

Traditional cinema and film are not so much separate art forms as they are foundation elements that should not only never be lost or forgotten but what I believe should remain at the apex of what the Academy and Oscars are all about.

We must retain the mystique and awe of Hollywood cinema and not let it become something that was.

It’s not about I’m better than you, being higher on the food chain or even exclusion but it’s about a certain sect that should remain so we don’t forget where all of those today came from initially.

That’s about as eloquoent as I can put what I think.

Doors should neither open further or close narrower for such media streaming and digital entities by staying seperate.

If nothing else create a DEMSA Digital Entertainment & Media Streaming Academy.

Every once in a while reading the tea leaves those in the know might suspect that evolution and all inclusiveness sometimes needs to put on the breaks before nothing becomes distinguished. You know… Drive in your own lane.

I like the fact the academy is distinguished.
